Jo, Phil and I would like to wish you all the best for Xmas and the New Year.
Don’t forget the Parents vs Players match – parents need to dress as footballers / sports players with fun socks, players to come in their team strips, supporters to wear something festive – piece of tinsel etc.
I’ll send a text in the New Year to all to ascertain who will be attending.
My thought is to have the match at 1030 – and once we have the venue confirmed – and final numbers – we can finalise arrangements and decide on refreshments.

Due to the condition of the pitches at Hexham Middle School and the forecast overnight of more sustained rain the two planned League games against Stocksfield and Corbridge have been cancelled.

Hurricanes do not have a game as they only have two outstanding league matches against Prudhoe and Wark – both these teams are unable to play this weekend.

The Hotshots will be playing two rescheduled league matches at home against Stocksfield and then against Corbridge.
Can you please arrive at Hexham Middle School for 9 am for a 930 start, the second match will be played afterwards.
If for any reason your son is unable to play, please let me know ASAP.
A pitch inspection will be done by 815 am on Saturday morning, no updates means it’s on.

Great games this weekend – with some fantastic football!
Training is on indoors at QEHS starting at 5 and finishing at 630. Can all the boys wear shin guards in training to reduce the risk of injuries.
Hopefully we may play some postponed matches this weekend the 22nd December – please check website.
Dates to remember:
Complete Football Tournament, Gosforth – Thursday 27/12/12 – (possibly 1.30 start TBC)
Parents v Players Match – Saturday 5/1/13 – parents must wear football/sports tops, shorts and fun socks! Venue and KO TBC.
Training in the New Year will ‘hopefully’ commence on Tuesday 8/1/13 -but NOT at QEHS because of exams – please check website for update on venue that week.
Wentworth – Sunday 13/1/13 – 5 a side tournament (no league match day before)

The Hurricanes will be playing away at Wark.
Can you please arrive at the playing fields at Wark for 930 for a 10 am start. Over the bridge in Wark and turn right, Sports Club is 50 yards on the right.
Those not playing have been informed – if for any reason your son is unable to play, please let me know ASAP.
A pitch inspection will be done before 830 am on Saturday morning, if the weather is better in Hexham we might switch the fixture in which case the KO time will be adjusted to fit in with other matches. Please check website and texts before travelling – no updates means it’s on.

The Hurricanes will be playing at Wylam this week. You will need to be at Jubliee Playing Field Wylam NE41 8DL, opposite the Fox and Hounds pub, by 930 am so we can be warmed up and ready to play at 10 am.

The Hotshots will be playing at Prudhoe this week. You will need to be at Eastwood Park, Prudhoe by 10 am so we can be warmed up and ready to play at 1030 am. Go through Prudhoe, past Waterworld then turn left at the Falcon Pub, follow road past golf club and the football field is on the right.
